Show & Tell Season 2 Week 2

What a busy lot you are. This week’s Show & Tell features baking, making and lots of fun outdoors, in spite of the weather. Thank you to everyone who has contributed and keep on sending in your pictures and updates, we love seeing them all. Items for the next Show & Tell should be sent to admin.kirmington@northlincs.gov.uk by the end of next Saturday (23rd).

Why not take a look at what the children at St. Helena’s have been up to?

Ethan helped decorate his room this week.

Oliver and William have been busy practicing darts. However the new rule is they have to do all the scoring themselves! I must say they are adding and subtracting quicker by the day and figuring out what they need to finish on, we may have an Eric Bristow or two on our hands!

Violet has been busy all week again making more meals, going riding, organising her toy horses and stables but painting a bird house has been one of the things she’s been proudest of all week.

Euan helped to prepare tea one night this week which he enjoyed more than having his photo taken 😆
Cerys enjoyed designing hair bands with a hair band decorating kit she got for Christmas 😊
Euan and Cerys have also worked hard with their  work sent home from school 📖 📚

“We have walked about 40 miles completed all school work. We have been out litter picking twice and found loads on Kings Rd. We have been playing board games: Trivial Pursuit, Chess, Draughts and Scrabble. We built a den in the living room and are camping in there at the moment. We hope everyone is staying safe.

Take care x”

This Friday it was Keira’s birthday. We had a lovely quiet day enjoying her presents with cake, some afternoon tie dye and a birthday sleepover in the living room. We have enjoyed some lovely walks and even bumped into Mrs. Moody and Miss Sanderson. We also been baking some butterfly cakes and enjoying some yoga

And Mrs. Revitt will be pleased to know that Mia’s tooth has now fallen out, that’s no front teeth now.

Maisie and Olivia went walking in the woods with mum and dogs Rosie and Ted – all got very muddy but it was lots of fun.

Maisie grooming Ted and Rosie after their bath.

Maisie had lots of fun baking chocolate cup cakes and flapjacks.

Hayley and Emily have been working hard on their home-schooling work but they are missing school and being with their friends. Although their little sister Felicity has enjoyed annoying them when they were trying to concentrate. They have also enjoyed going for a walk in Normandy Hall to birdwatch and to feed the ducks. They made bird perches from twigs and wool and baked scones which were delicious. But their highlight of the week was on Friday afternoon doing show and tell via online with Miss Sanderson and their classmates.
