Show & Tell Season 2 Week 6
Well it’s not hard to guess what is featuring in this week’s
Snow and Tell oops, I mean Show and Tell. Looking at your pictures and stories, is a wonderful way to kick start the half-term, and we can all let out a collective sigh of relief, consign the school books to a safe but out of sight place, leave laptops and tablets to gather dust, and relax and enjoy quality time together. Thank you to everyone who has contributed to this week’s Show & Tell. Keep on sending in your pictures and updates, we love seeing them all. Items for the next Show & Tell should be sent to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Why not take a look at what the children at St. Helena’s have been up to?
Euan and Cerys have had lots of fun in the snow this week ⛄️❄️☃️❄️⛄️❄️
Valentine cards made by Cerys 😍
Euan has been crafting as usual making a cube this week ☺️
Harry and Charlie have had a good half term and have particularly loved the snow this week! It has really given them a lift. They have enjoyed making snowmen, playing and building in the snow and having snowball fights. They have been working really hard too and have both done amazingly well keeping up with their school work! They have both enjoyed doing some art work this week. Charlie made his own Arcimbaldo style pictures and Harry has been doing some science experiments – his favourite was the Mentos in the coke bottle explosion! They are looking forward to a week off and hopefully being back to school soon!
Another super week we’ve had. 🤗 Darcy has took some quiet time and enjoyed doing some yoga 🧘🏼♀️ following the cosmic kids on her iPad. Darcy has also completed her technology homework and designed and made a moveable car 🚗 which does actually move! 😁 Daddy did help!! 🤣
We’re now looking forward to some family time during half term.
Hope everyone is keeping well and safe! 💗
Evelyn has mostly spent this week playing in the snow!
Daisy and Evie have been busy this week playing in the snow, sledging, making a snowman and doing snowball fights. We have also made dad’s birthday cake in Leeds United colours: blue, yellow and white. They are looking forward to half term, to have lots of time to play games. We bought a new game called Mapominoes, it was very difficult for us all.
It’s been another busy couple of weeks with the kitchen resembling Junior Bake Off much of the time! Even Sam got involved under Amy’s careful supervision of course! 😉
There were Sticky Toffee Pudding Cookies, sausage rolls, chocolate cake and Anglo Saxon Honey.
There has been lots of outside time too with wintry walks, playing in the snow and building snowmen 😊
As much as Sam and Amy have missed school life, they have made memories together during this difficult time that I’m sure they’ll never forget.
We hope everyone has a relaxing half-term.
With our love and best wishes,
Leanne, Dave, Sam and Amy xx
