Show & Tell Week 11
It has been a mixed bag of weather this week but, as we can see from the photos, this hasn’t stopped you from having fun. What an amazing bunch of children you all are. If you want to take part in the next Show & Tell, please send photos and/or a sentence or two, to admin.kirmington@northlincs.gov.uk by the end of next Saturday.

This week Bella enjoyed watching the English National Ballet’s Swan Lake, going to Caistor for a walk and building a light house out of straws.
Elise has been enjoying reading about the news in her new newspapers, making story spoons for Bella and her little brother and drawing.
Both girls enjoyed watching the rocket launch on TV.
Hope everyone is safe and well, many thanks.

This week Blake received his mini Hammond and mini Jackson. He absolutely loves them. We have been getting stuck into keeping them busy with obstacle courses, word hunts and the making mini Hammond smile challenges.
Blake has also kept himself busy playing dress up, making forts and thrones from cushions as well as enjoying the lovely weather on some walks.

Seth has spent the week helping Daddy in the garden. They have drawn an image of a playhouse for Seth, and now they are building it together. He’s having lots of fun and is very excited about it.

This week Owen has continued to work really hard at home: he’s done his reading plus each day and learned about planets. We did some work outside while the sun was still out.
Owen was overjoyed to receive his prize for winning the handwriting competition, as it’s something he’s worked hard at improving, with him being left handed. We haven’t had any toads in with our fish yet Mrs Emms but will keep a careful watch. we did however have a hedgehog in our garden the other night. We tried to get a picture but it was too quick for us.

This week has seen us doing a few science experiments… we are watching the results of the flowers very carefully, more school work, more baking (a Swiss roll this time) and more outdoor fun ( yes, Jess is climbing a tree in a dress!)

Hayley and Emily have been hard working this week on their school work and also around the house helping Mummy.
We have been working on our science experiments where we have been doing lava lamps and putting skittles in warm water! We still ate them afterwards, and they tasted the same but with a bit less colour! We also made homemade play dough for us to play with.
On the days that it was sunny we played outside using a tractor that used to belong to our Daddy! We have also learnt how to ride out bikes without our stabilisers! Everyone is very proud! Mummy struggled to get a picture as we were so fast!

We have been busy bees over the past couple of weeks with going on lots more walks and finding trees to climb. I (Lauren) enjoyed baking and icing my yummy chocolate cake which you can tell from my chocolate smile and I (Chloe) made Chorley cakes having seen a recipe on tv. They were yummy too. We wanted to make some marble wrapping paper using shaving foam and lots of different coloured paint, they turned out fab.
We have been working through our home learning and on Friday achieved our 2nd bronze cup with Carol Vorderman’s Maths Factor. I (Lauren) completed the genius adding up test and I (Chloe) completed the decimals genius test. Mum says we both did brilliantly.
We are missing everyone at School and our friends and hope it is not too long before seeing them all again.
Lots of Love
Chloe and Lauren
