Show & Tell Week 17

It’s hard to believe that we have had 17 weeks worth of Show & Tell and as we move into the Summer holidays we have a couple more contributions. In a few weeks, the Show & Tell page will no longer have it’s own menu tab, but will instead have a permanent link on the Kids Zone tab, so you will be able to revisit the pictures and stories any time you like. You have all been amazing and we hope you have a fun, relaxing and safe Summer Holiday and we look forward to welcoming everyone back into school in September.

Cole has loved being back at school since the beginning of June and has loved every minute. We still try do the challenges and today he made his own. He wanted to do his Monday mile, today is Sunday. So I took him and Mrs Jackson and Mrs Hammond out for a run (along with Monty the dog).

Considering it’s his first time in months. He managed 1 Mile in 13 mins (with a few stops).

Owen had a mixture of feelings this week with it officially being his last week of primary school. As he’d already completed all the work that had been set he continued to do his online reading plus as well as reading some books on his kindle recommended by his new secondary school. He also completed the week one summer transition work set by Vale in Maths, science and English he has a piece to do each week during the summer holidays.

On Friday he proudly wore his St Barnabas uniform for the last time for his leavers picnic which was a lovely way to end his primary school chapter and meant he got a chance to say goodbye to a lot of friends and staff that he hadn’t seen since March.

He was over the moon to receive his leavers gifts and to be awarded the trophy for Diligence, as this is his last show and tell we’ve included a picture of him on his 1st day at St Barnabas as well as his last.

Owen wishes everyone all the best for the future, he hopes to keep in touch with you all and sends his love and thanks for helping him to grow into the mature young man he’s becoming and preparing him for his next chapter of education in September xxx
