What a busy, fun first term we have had. I am immensely proud of the whole class, for jumping into life in the Juniors with both feet and a big smile!
This term we have learnt about Rainforests and used different mediums to create Rainforest art. The children have also enjoyed their gardening afternoon’s with Mrs Methven; it has been a joy to watch them explore and work together. In Computing lessons we have been experimenting with Turtle Logo and Scratch, it has been exciting to see what their coding can create.
We have put our poetry writing skills to good use, writing poems for Bonfire night and Remembrance Day, with fantastic results.
Last week a very special visitor arrived in 3S. Bernard Alexander Elf has joined our class… he’s a little bit naughty but Year 3 are trying their best to show him how to behave. Hopefully he will soon follow the mature, sensible, hardworking example they all set. We are all looking forward to some festive fun in the weeks ahead, now our classroom is decorated with lights and the tree is up.
Well done Year 3 for a wonderful first term in the Juniors, you have all risen to the challenge tremendously!
Wishing everyone a Happy Christmas from all in Year 3.
