Welcome
Welcome to our website
Saint Barnabas Church of England Primary School is situated in the village of Barnetby Le Wold and are Federated with St. Helena’s Church of England Primary School, in the nearby village of Kirmington.
We are a small, friendly caring school and we take great pride in playing a central part in village life. We have close links with Saint Barnabas Church and hold regular school services in the church. We live our Vision daily. "Building on our shared and inclusive Christian values, we will work in unity to unlock the potential of all in our community to enable them to flourish. We will equip all to embrace opportunity and to seek positive transformation in the world." This is built upon our Christian Values of thankfulness, friendship, perseverance, hope, trust, peace, forgiveness, love and compassion, and is guided by Psalm 133.1. We welcome all children and families, and personalise learning to meet individual needs. It is our aim to ensure that everyone at the school feels part of a successful team, knowing that they are valued, being inspired to fulfil their potential and taking their place in society as individuals who can make a real difference. We strive to ensure that every chid flourishes and has the opportunity to unlock their potential during their time with us at primary school. I hope that website gives you an insight of our school, you are more than welcome to come and visit us at work and play. Please contact us if you require help with your enquiries. Opening Hours:
Our school day starts at 8:55 AM and finishes at 3:30 PM.
The gates open in the morning at 8:45 AM, to allow our parents and children on to the playground, and they are locked at 8:55 AM, after which time parents must bring their children to the main reception, and sign them in using the Late Register. A typical school week is 32 hours and 55 minutes long.
Attendance Matters:
We encourage children to have excellent attendance and celebrate those that achieve over 95% termly. It is important that the children learn the life skills of commitment and punctuality. Attendance and punctuality are monitored carefully within school. At St Barnabas C of E Primary School we strive to achieve 100% attendance.
Whole school attendance for the second half of the Summer Term 2025, was 93.59% and for the whole academic year, 94.73%.
