Online Safety

Staying Safe

With a huge increase in the use of technology and online services, it is important that we teach children, from a young age, how to stay safe when using the Internet.

Online safety is taught throughout the school, with activities designed to support children’s learning to ensure progression, and it is also referred to across subjects at relevant points. The resources below will help you to keep your children safe while they are using the Internet at home.

We have also downloaded various guides from The National College which you can access here.

If you are worried about online abuse, click the CEOP button to make a report to a Child Protection Advisor.

You can call ChildLine on 0800 11 11 or visit the ChildLine website using the button above if you ever need to talk to someone in confidence.

Last year our helpline saw a 45% increase in contacts from people worried about children experiencing online sexual abuse.
